“Making the simple complicated is commonplace; making the complicated simple, awesomely simple, that's creativity.”
Charles Mingus, bass-player
Organizations struggle with structures, technologies, past, current and future processes, with individuals, emotions, paradoxic line-ups and much more – interesting enough to keep oneself busy for years: professionally as well as academically.
For more than 20 years I have been working invarious roles in the HCM project business: as project manager, strategy and technical consultant, solution architect and trainer in different industries including public sector and armed forces.
I have worked locally in Austria, Norway and Saudi Arabia for a long time and -due to Corona - I was also able to carry out projects in Asia, Mexico and America completely remotely.
In the 90s I studied German and English literature in Frankfurt/Main and Galway/Ireland and graduated with the first state examination (L3). This was followed by a part-time Master's degree in Organization Studies (M.A., 2004) and a PhD (Dr. phil.) in 2014 at the University of Hildesheim on the topic: "Learning: A Disregarded Dimension in ERP Implementation-Projects. A Qualitive Study.".
I started my professional career as a works council secretary in a 5-star hotel and as a human resources administrator in a food company. After a one-year consultant training with SAP certification, I started my project work in the HCM and SAP environment, first as a trainer and consultant, later as Solution Lead, Strategy Consultant and Project Manager. I have now been working for iCon/EPIUSE for a total of over 12 years.
For a long time, I have been equally interested in theoretical and technicalaspects of HR. I was able to scientifically examine learning theory perspectives in ERP implementations in my dissertation and publish a technical manual on SAP web technologies in HCM in parallel:
I am married and enjoy country-life in the middle of Germany for several years now.
Since my school days I am a passionate musician(saxophone & clarinet) with a preference for jazz, Motown, R&B, which I can live out with my band/s for years.
I relax and recover with hiking, mountaineering, MTB and extensively walking our dog Emma.
