beyond corporate purpose

Electromobilist and organ donor

“What you want to ignite in others must burn in you... Only those who burn themselves can ignite fire in others.”
Augustinus von Hippo, Kirchenvater

Although - or perhaps precisely because - the majority of people in Germany live in a comfortable and prosperous environment, they often have prejudices and fears that prevent them from moving forward. You can blindly follow the opinions of others, which for me is one reason why lobbyists and influencers are so successful in both traditional and social media. Or you can dare to think outside the box on your own. From this point of view, the topics of electromobility and organ donation are not so different. Does that mean I want to convert others? No, not at all. But it requires active listening to understand where the other person is coming from and not preaching one's own position. Then you can discuss at eye level and hopefully open up new horizons for each other.

Professional Career

After graduating, I was the one-man HR "department" of a craft business with 90 employees, later implemented HR systems with my team as a practice manager and was later responsible for the IT side of the German HR system of Dresdner Bank as Head of HR IT. Later, after being outsourced, I took on the role of Senior Service Manager for the bank's German and international systems with a team of 24. In parallel, I was responsible for various projects throughout my career.

Special Interests

Finally something personal

Can a 60-year-old still have fun with building blocks (e.g. Lego)? I think so, and I relax wonderfully when I put the little colourful bricks together to make something big. Space problems are inevitable, because the WAF (Women Acceptance Factor) is really not all that big. 😊
